This farm relies on a lift system which pulls water from drilled water wells and fill a large holding pond, then pumped again to even higher elevations to irrigation pivots. This large seasonal demand called for a sustainable energy solution.

With overhead network lines cutting through the site, a creative layout was required to stay clear of the easement. Once this was plotted and the new 1600 Amp switchboard installed, it was smooth sailing for this project.
A big shout out to our boys who built this one, they spend weeks on end constructing this sizeable project in the unforgiving central lakes winter.
Commissioned in September 2024, this system has generated 899MWh to date and consists of over 900 Astronergy solar modules and five Fimer PVS100kW commercial inverters.
