OPR Solar was born from our parent company, OPR Ltd, which has specialized in industrial and commercial electrical services for over 15 years. Based in Central Otago, OPR Ltd has built a strong reputation for reliability and excellence while proudly supporting New Zealand’s agriculture and horticulture industries.
OUR STORY
Recognizing the growing demand amongst our clients to combat rising energy costs, OPR Solar was established to deliver cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.
Since our inception, we have designed and built sizeable private systems throughout Central Otago and continue to expand rapidly, now servicing Canterbury, too.
With a dedicated team and state-of-the-art technology, OPR Solar provides turnkey solar energy systems for projects of any scale. Our specialised equipment for ground-mounted installations allows us to work efficiently, making us one of the most competitive providers in the industry.

This powerhouse group is anchored by seven senior and expert electricians, supported by two dedicated apprentices, ensuring a balance of seasoned mastery and emerging talent.
